Hi, I am also a Logic Pro user with no experience of FL studio. I have heard that the quantizer function allows the user to quantize notes in function of a certain preset.Etienne1973 wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 8:31 pm Hi. Logic Pro user here. For example, one can quantize hi-hats, not to match mathematical precision, but to match a feel associated with certain genres. (kind of a preset of intended imprecisions?)

LP 10.5 Manual > Groove Templates

You can also build a library of preset GTs from your own MIDI regions for later re-usage or extract grooves from audio loops yourself anytime.
Critical in this scenario is that the triggered samples or synthesized drum/percussion sounds are similar in general and have a similar attack phase (transients) which align with the source.
So I normally bounce in place my software instrument sound each separately to know if I have to delay (negative or positive) for a certain amount.
