When I see the values, my brain is messing with what I hear. Serious hobbyist - that might be the issue.
I came across this when trying Analog Obsession's SSQ. With it, I was usually able quite quickly getting final sound in comparison to Slick EQ. With Slick EQ, I tend to think more in numbers, "wouldn't 8 dB be too much?" and such.
However, when I perform changes done with SSQ again with Slick EQ, I liked the result sonically much more - kind of more "pure sounding" or "open sounding".
In general, great work on SlickEQ and other your products - thank you! I have GE versions of 3 of your plugins and it is great!
