think about this. set treshhold on 1 pad to maybe 80 so it recognize only harder press. in other pad set treshhold to 20 so a soft press send low levels. but when press on this key too hard, then velocity it send is too much. there need a min and a max limit or a single velocity value. i get in mind there is another board. it is called joue. this allow a velocity range and seem can do best. but it is expensive and can not use for other as the sensel board

There are velocity sensitive pads. Why would you waist pads and resolution if you could play it expressive in the first place???

can you really play good, velocity switch articulation sounds (guitar with mute sustain) good on pads(so that you not randomly press to hard if you want play a mute) ?. i can this not good in realtime. I have a Akai keyboard with 8 pads. and i play some time to learn play with pads. akai is known for good pads, but for me work worse. Use keyswitches i think also not good. so i wish use 2 pad rows. 1 pad row for mute, 1 pad row for sustain and maybe 1 pad row for bends up first and release. and for play strings brass or other i too wish have the articulations on seperate pad. then i can buy a pad controller
