Another week. Another bug.

i9-10980HK. Windows 10 (21H2). Komplete Audio 6. Studio One 5.4.1.

Known,
but here is my +1 another time. Since its a basic need.

OpenGl renderer improves the experience and raises the threshold but it becomes sluggish with 10+ tracks again.

Are you still running the AMD x4 955? That's a seriously old processor right now and while it would have been fairly good in its time, you get a lot of overheads running Windows 10 which are more noticeable on older hardware. It actually predates the Core i5/i7 Intel processors which brought with them a massive jump in performance for that generation of CPUs.

How much RAM do you have? And do you have a dedicated graphics card, or are you using onboard video?

I run it on a 7th gen i7 overclocked and a nvidia 1070@wqhd. I have a similar experience if I use some more tracks: 15-25. Also depending on how many clips I got.

I'm afraid that bears no relation to the problem. The problem is not that the GUI is too slow because I have an older processor. You can see in the video that it's perfectly fine until the Tempo track is shown. The problem is that the GUI goes from updating at around 30 fps down to about 3 fps when there are Global Tempo markers visible in the display. My processor is old because I have no reason to upgrade it and thus go through the pain of getting a new motherboard and everything else. The track I'm working on now has quite a lot going on and is still only registering at 50% of the CPU.

Yeap, I can confirm this, was worse before the v11.1.14 beta, now is more fast but still sluggish when you work with 20+ tracks
