I’m often reading your posts in this forum and always thinking, this is maybe not the right software for you. I often also think think this way for myself.
For fast and easy workflow I also prefer other software, Omnisphere is a great example. Out of the box great sounds.
Most of the time I’m faster with other software, still missing a great turbo channel strip. I’m not that person who configure this inside mxxx and Bild my own active preset. Cause of that I mostly use other software like PSP Infinstrip. It’s ready and great sounding. But, Melda has still its place in my chains. More for little special things.

Is there a way to download all presets for all plugins in one hit?

You mean instruments for MSoundFactory? Or MDrummer packs?? I'm not sure what you are talking about. The normal presets are always installed. But the big stuff - samples, MDrummer packs, need to be installed via the downloader.GusGranite wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:08 am Is there a way to download all presets for all plugins in one hit?

Quick question, will there be delay compensation for automation when using crossovers or plugins that introduce latency in MXXX?

3A. I thought that the Melda Installer 14 (14.05?) Search just looked for some/all Melda files and it is for the user to select and delete some or all. Correct? I did not delete any files.MeldaProduction wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2020 10:59 am 6. Already done. Interestingly I personally uninstalled OneDrive and now it is somehow linked to a nonexistent OneDrive folder
. MS didn't think this through

3B.Going from memory the Melda Installer search for the Melda files did not find my (S) Sample drive MeldaProduction\Monastery Grand and \MSoundFactroyEssentials. I am fairly sure it searched the S drive. I suppose no big deal?
5. Not sure if the three .Mdrummerpack’s I downloaded were installed. The .Mdrummerpack’s are not important to me but I will take your advice and install them. Would be great if a .txt file was included to offer tips and instructions on the installation. I was able to check and confirm that the Monastery Grand was properly installed but not MDrummer. Perhaps this will all be understood as I get more familiar with MSF?
6. Glad it was changed.

Very sorry if this has been covered, but I'm currently downloading MSFEssentials because it was advised in this thread to do so (not sure where I would have been told to do so if I didn't view this thread)
Will this overwrite the content I already have on my computer? Or will there be an extra 3 gigabytes of unused files now?

muntuns: Yes it will overwrite the contents and just add a few files.
Kalamata Kid: No worries, it will all get somewhat "polished" over the time. The current situation is a bit of an exception anyways, since the installation process is just getting "done".
SeeinginMIDI: I'm afraid, there's pretty much no way to do that considering how the engine works (just imagine an MP with multiple targets some nondelayed, others delayed...)

Would it be possible to atleast compensate the latency introduced from the mxxx crossovers?MeldaProduction wrote: Sun Sep 13, 2020 9:02 am SeeinginMIDI: I'm afraid, there's pretty much no way to do that considering how the engine works (just imagine an MP with multiple targets some nondelayed, others delayed...)

Thanks. No I mean all of the available online presets for every Melda plugin I own. No worries if not. Just thought I would ask.MeldaProduction wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 12:10 pmYou mean instruments for MSoundFactory? Or MDrummer packs?? I'm not sure what you are talking about. I´m having a problem with mdrummer 14.08 inside Reaper 6. If I use mbassador on a kickdrum for example, this channel loses it´s timing and is asynchronous to the whole rest of the drumset. Buffer size of my RME Babyface is 256.
There seems to be no latency compensation, what can I do?
Thanks

I've seen some annoying not compensated latency with mxxx and automation as well. I'd hoped to investigate what it was and report it but haven't had time. If it's the crossover that makes sense to me as I use the spectral and linear phase ones in mxxx a lot.SeeingInMidi wrote: Sun Sep 13, 2020 7:39 pm Would it be possible to atleast compensate the latency introduced from the mxxx crossovers?

In bassador, turn off Crossover> Linear-phase (which introduces latency).Svama wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2020 10:00 am I´m having a problem with mdrummer 14.08 inside Reaper 6. It seems there is a problem (difficulty/ impossibility) with latency compensation when modules (plugins) with latency are within 'host' plugins like MSF, MXXX, and MDrummer.

I'm afraid I have to agree. It's a bit like trying to configure a compressor without seeing the gain reduction at the moment. Great value, except for this one (literal) blind spot.JayJ1095 wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 1:57 am Great to see an LE version of MSpectralDynamics added to the essentials bundle! But as someone else mentioned, any chance of adding graphs to the interface to show what each of the modes (and the controls) are actually doing?
I feel like the LE version could safely see a live spectrogram, like the full version, without it stepping on the toes of avoiding additional controls.
