that's not what i meant. I mean, those filters are being used right now. In presets, in work in progress tracks. I wouldn't like them to change. Instead, they could(/should) add new filters. So that presets (etc.) stay the same.Jonas Harmon Lane wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 1:10 amExactly, why change things up at this stage?exmatproton wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 1:03 am
Well, let's hope they keep them the same...and add some other/new ones for you![]()
I doubt anyone would appreciate Parawave wasting precious development time on the filters just to appease probably the only person in this thread who would benefit.
Really I have passed the point of caring now.

Sure I understand, makes perfect sense to me now that you mention it.exmatproton wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 7:41 am

And with that I shall bow out of this thread and possibly KVR since it decided to ban my last account for wanting to protect my families privacy. At no point did either my email address or myself spam KVR.
Hade!

Lol, he actually got banned for complaining in another synth's thread and would not stop.
Anyway, back to Rapid, I think it's perfectly capable of doing many different sounds, but more filters are always welcomed
My first and still standing feature request would still be a (modulatable/automatable) modulation amount, as I think it would be more convenient to have it in the Modulation Matrix instead on the LFO Level.
But I'll take MSEGs first, that too would be great to have.
Anything actually
I love Rapid's updates, they don't break anything and are rock solid stable on release already.

I haven't been here for a few days and suddenly there is a lot of discussion about bandpass filters. : D
Luckily, my presence wasn't necessary because most of the people here have pretty much said everything.
Thanks a lot for this!
We are always working on Rapid and prioritize features that are most required and which we also consider important. But someone has already mentioned that here. So why am I still writing?
btw. this is my favorite quote from past posts. Simply great!

Well, I use Rapid for the things it's good at - and there are lots of such things, psytrance leads with badnpass filters and lots of resonance just isn't one of them, but I use other synths for that. That's why people have more than one synth, even if the fetaures are similar the sonic sweet spots may be quite different.
At that, Mutli BP can sound nice, I use it for various sweeping sounds where I don't need much resonance.

Hi, just a quick question:
Preset Browser search & Preset Browser favorites / rating are planned for 1.8.5? And now it's Rapid 1.8.0 (released in July)?

Is there somewhere list where to see multi samples included with FULL Rapid (in demo version they don't have all samples included)?

I really like the idea you can layer with inside Rapid (I mean you can have layer1 to play from c3 to c4 and layer2 from c2 to c4 and layer3 from...). I think this give good layer options inside one synth!
What you think?

I don't know if I understood you correctly, but you can set keyranges on the masterpage for each layer. That alowes you to set for example layer one from c1-b3 and layer two from c4 to b7...SoundHunterrr wrote: Sun Sep 13, 2020 8:09 pm I really like the idea you can layer with inside Rapid (I mean you can have layer1 to play from c3 to c4 and layer2 from c2 to c4 and layer3 from...). Wow! Loading individual layers, loading/saving effect stacks and MSEGs... <3
Something to be expected this year or next?

yeah, 1.8 was a great release, but 1.9 will add some stuff that just completes Rapid imo, can't waitstarflakeprj wrote: Sun Sep 13, 2020 10:59 pm https://parawave-audio.com/rapid_roadmap

Oh I think a few items like the loop player were not there the last time I looked. 1.9 seems like an AMAZING update with loops, modulation edit functions, granular fx. And of course the MSEG. Can't wait!starflakeprj wrote: Sun Sep 13, 2020 10:59 pm https://parawave-audio.com/rapid_roadmap
