Request: Simple MIDI script for Plug'n Script

I need a script that makes an incoming program change message route the output to a specific midi channel:
Pr 1 > Channel 1
Pr 2 > Channel 2
etc

Help appreciated very much!
Also, welcoming tips on resources on how to learn basic scripting for MIDI.
