That seems to be the general impression people are having. Peter from IK addressed it here: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php? ... ent=166299

FWIW, it’s $99 USD to crossgrade with intro pricing, which IMO is a decent deal if you’re not already heavily invested in IK.

I’m hoping someone will list all the processors with the plug-in they come from.

I use both companies products but in my opinion PSP is on a higher level than IK for effects.
☝️ that. Without a doubt. PSP people are not even considering that announcement. Neither is Colin McDowell.
Thats such a broad blanket statement. IK are widely considered to have the most accurate tape machine emulation. Their Leslie speaker emulation is also considered top tier. I have their Black 76 and White 2A, IMHO they are competitive with the other top 1176 and LA2A plugins.

If you have the crossgrade option, you cannot apply Jampoints, which is incredibly lame imho.

I've applied discount on a crossgrade. It was a different product though.

I feel the Black 76 is off compared to the other 76 emulations.

I meant you can't use Jampoints if you have the additional 50$ off promo code.

With IK it’s always jampoints tomorrow. It’s annoying how useless they can be.

Still a big nope for me, I paid little more than that for the full Total bundle. Like the plug-ins but for me it's too expensive for what it is. If you don't own any IK stuff it might be a good deal though

So, anyone tried redeeming the RX7 Elements code from Plugin Boutique yet? Curious if it somehow does unlock RX8 Elements.

Mine is RX7.

I have not known them do that automatically but they do have a grace period but you have to ask for that to be activated.
Seeing as this is a freebie...

I hear you. I’ll likely pick it up somewhere down the road in a group buy or something.

Here’s hoping the Guitar Rig 6 upgrade/crossgrade offer is reasonable.

Exactly, you can apply jampoints if you have the crossgrade option, you can't if you have the "crossgrade plus." I have 47 JPs and I'm tempted even though I have each of those effects by three different brands already. GAS is a b****!

Post

if you only have a few effect plugins and qualify for the crossgrade, this is a great deal
