I still don't understand how someone at a marketing desk can think that they are doing a good job. This isn't working. Just lower your prices and run occasional sales. Good products but don't act like they are worth 10x more usually.

How do you know it's not working for them - do you have inside information on their revenue and goals?

That they keep doing these sales suggests the results are inline with their goals to me.

Yep, even a complaint about a sale on a forum is playing into their hands as you are potentially helping to make the sale visible to other people who may just think "cool, a sale!".

The Waves Update Plan is a percentage of their original price. That‘s were they earn their money. The $29 sales are just promotion.
