In Session Audio's biggest annual sale has started - bigger discounts than Black Friday or any other time of the year. I think they do it in October so they get people before they're tapped out on Black Friday sales. Anywhere from 25% to 60% off their usual prices, plus they still have their usual "buy three (at once) get one free" deal on the whole catalog.

I highly recommend Drumatic Creator and Taiko Creator, which are great-sounding and quite possibly unique in operation. And Shimmer Shake Strike is tremendously useful. They've also just released a new product, "Guitar Swells".

All their products (I believe) use the free Kontakt Player, so no need to own the full version of Kontakt. Edit: they do have some more generic guitar libraries for either full Kontakt or Omnisphere that I wasn't aware of. Their "big" products - the Creators, Riff Generation, Fluid Strike, etc - are all for Kontakt Player.

Do note one weird thing about their catalog: most of their products you can buy either the base product or the base product + some number of expansions, but unless they've changed things, you can't buy the expansions separately later. At the current prices I'd definitely recommend getting the fully-expanded versions where applicable. The expansions generally don't add more samples but significantly increase the number of included patterns, kits, and so on.
