Can anyone help with this? Vengeance website says that for versions lower than Catalina I should download codemeter 6.9, the thing is I already have codemeter 7 installed from other software. Would v.7 work for Avenger on Mojave or I need to downgrade my codemeter version?

I am on 10.14.6 and been using 7... Granted I don't use Avenger that much, but never noticed any issue with it in terms of codemeter.

when avenger maybe can allow exact settings. for 120 bpm need set the grain size to 250 ms and the grain density to 4 then the fades from grain env are on every beat and when use drums they can not hear. i think then avenger this way can sound better as many other slicer. many slicer do less or more clicks when rearrange.

but it can also work with shorter grainsize when read rate is same as wav then no grain env is need. only need the grain env when a position change happen to play another slice. maybe that the fades happen every grain size is because i can not set exact 40 grains per second on grain density

Is codemeter safe? Haven’t updated yet as I read some worrying comments about it. Thanks

I've had zero issues on the PC or Mac since the V Manager era. Vaguely irritating that it still needs a manual input to keep something you own working, but it's been hassle-free in all other ways here.

the granular engine can never become a good slicer. Like I said, we plan a real slicer module für 2.0. That makes more sense than somehow force the granular into something half baked

Manuel in 1.6 when I use the drums osc and mute the osc1. The next day I open the project the osc1 is unmuted just wanted to report this

Are there any plans for new filters in 2.0 it would be great to get new filters and also the ability to get parallel filter

Post

no new filters. We wouldnt have any idea anyways which filters to add, since Avenger has all types which makes sense already.
But the paralell mode is on my personal wishlist already

Post

Out of interest Manuel, is there a list of confirmed new features in 2.0? Realise that it's a long way off and feature list likely incomplete, but you've mentioned such a lot already in various posts I'm forgetting what's what...

Just my thoughts on any update as I have been using Avenger loads recently:

I think the filters are awesome already - maybe Filter FM from the oscillators, also dry / wet filter control could be useful ?(especially on the Master filter that might be nice to have I think).

With the mod matrix view I would love to be able to make the mod matrix full height but then have buttons down the side next to the other buttons for LFO 1, 2, 3, 4 so you can flick between a big mod matrix and LFOs so you could always leave the mod matrix big in complex patches. If you had just 2 LFO's in use you would get L1 and L2 button etc..

LFO graphics showing position and speed of LFO and LFO depth knob (I have already mentioned that).

When you modulate VSAW MIX slider you get the dot graphics above fading in and out with the modulation.

My main thing would be to use mouse scroll wheel as fine control on knobs though - I think it is wasted as it is and feels much more natural to me - would be a great option to have.
