I’m using MuLab 7 and have just upgraded my MacBook to Catalina. Now when I start MuLab it throws the message “can’t start audio engine”.
Any ideas?

Make sure MuLab>Audio Setup shows your audio interface in the Core Audio Device window. If it is not in the menu, you will need to setup your audio again in Applications>Utilities>Audio Midi Setup. If the Audio Devices does not show your interface in the sidebar, you may need to install a Catalina driver for your interface from its website. Be sure to follow their instructions explicitly. While you are at it, be sure your midi controllers are also recognised in the Midi Studio. Also update to MuLab 8.
