It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Alright folks, version 1.0 is here!: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9sieh5w39f8y2 ... 0.zip?dl=0
And I was able to integrate the Skin Builder directly in the package, to make everything easy. Other than adding the Skin Builder, not much is new from the RC other than a few minor cosmetic fixes. Next up will be a version 1.1, but that won't be for a while. Of course, if you identify important bugs I'll release a smaller update sooner.

Oh man that skin builder is fun ! I've done four different themes so far. All seem to work just fine but I haven't tried using them in sound design and/or composition but I'm sure there will be no problem. I'll still have to manually change the EQ color to taste but that's no big deal at all.
Thanks for this fun tool!

Glad you like it! I totally forgot about the EQ. I planned to have a feature that asked whether you wanted a multicolor EQ or main color only. Just added that feature now and it will be in the next version

Cool ! The skin builder is totally addictive. I think I've tried every shade in the spectrum.
There does seem to be a bit of a periodic issue with the Mod Mapper active block. This is with RGB 253,193,0:
Here's one that's kind of fun.

Heh, I agree it’s addictive! And I’m about 80% done revising it so you can build a full multicolor skin with it which should really increase the possibilities. Give me a few days!Teksonik wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 2:28 am There does seem to be a bit of a periodic issue with the Mod Mapper active block. This is with RGB 253,193,0:

On the mod mapper, the active block should use the same color as the “Selection Color”. Did you set that to a bright green?

No I didn't that's why I mentioned it. Not sure where the green came from, it was all 253,193,0.

Hmm. Weird. When you mouse over a block does it turn green too? Are the selected points on the MSEG green too? Finally would you mind sending me the script file for that?

Yes mouse over turns a block green and when clicked the MSEG points turn green, otherwise they are white. It seems to have something to do with the second set of numbers. Results there are somewhat unpredictable.
If I enter 253,193,0 in the top set of numbers and leave the second set at default the block turns black.

Got it, thanks! I’ll investigate tomorrow. I think it probably has to do with the fact that I’m using a different method of setting the color for the second set.

Question to all using or considering using this skin — does anyone use this on Mac or Linux?
I am considering moving towards an all Skin Builder approach, where the default Blue and Colorized versions are simply presets off the Skin Builder. I am trying to simplify version management, and that is one possible approach, but I have no idea how to code for Mac/Linux and wouldn’t want to make it impossible for current Mac/Linux folks to use the skin

I use Kubuntu Linux on one system but not for making music so couldn't really be of any help testing.

Thanks. My question is actually the other way around -- if there are a large number of Mac/Linux users using this skin out there, I might not go down the route of making the Skin Builder the main interface since it only will be a Windows thing. Its just so much easier to have a single script for Z2/ZHZ and a single set of images, and then have the Skin Builder do the work of making a blue/multicolor versions rather than maintaining 4x separate skins and trying to keep them all in sync.
