I keep kicking the tyres of the UVI Shades intro deal (€79). I think if it had come in at €49 I'd have snapped it up, but I'm thinking I've already got some very similar kit on the EQ side (FabFilter Pro-Q) and have various things for applying modulation, even FabFilter Volcano which I hardly ever use. On the other hand, Shades does seem to have very wide range of EQ types and if I bought it I could probably sell all my FabFilter plugins as it's only the fact I had a load bundled in with Pro-Q that has stopped me before.

Anyone seen any major pros or cons that would help make a decision e.g. CPU usage issues or aliasing ? I guess I'll download the demo anyway.

The CPU is high'ish on it, apparently. Also, seems the Bitwig community is snobbish about it since they reckon this is bread and butter mod territory IF you use Bitwig.
Shade caught my eye as well, its got a lot of fun factor going for it but real world applications? Only you will know whether this was worth $80 after the honeymoon is over. I decided to pass, plugin folder is way way too big..

Hey quick question for anyone who knows the rules, couldn't find an explanation on this.

If you add new plugins to an existing post with plugins for sale, are you allowed to add a comment about the new plugins without waiting 48 hours, or are you still supposed to wait 48 hours?

Wait 48, otherwise people would continuously edit their posts to bypass the waiting period

On 8DIO products, I just found out their custom "bundler" discount codes work in addition to sale prices. (I thought it was on normal prices).

Codes are listed on their web page (under "bundler" menu) and start at an extra 20% off on $200 ... up to 50% off if you spend a bunch. Really takes the sales prices to the next level if you're buying enough.

My point was it should be already implemented in a various presets ,... especially at this pricepoint
