Unless I'm missing something, havn't Arturia made excellent versions of the some of the above named instruments?

I like Arturia a lot, and some of their newer emulations are very good, but their CS-80 and Jupiter-8 plugins are just okay. Roland’s Jupiter-8 plugin is much better, and even comes in hardware form (System-8). So far no one has made a great CS-80 emulation.

The System-8 is pretty much on par, sound-wise, and has many significant improvements over the original.

On the subject of a potential CS-80, as long as it supports MPE, you've basically got controllers like the Rise and the Morph which could act as very good CS-80 controllers with per-key aftertouch and ribbons/pitch-bend. Could be interesting to pair up a really good CS-80 emulation with an MPE controller.

Would work well with the ASM Hydrasynth too.

Hydrasynth is probably the best (non-vintage) controller for that, currently.
Standard keyboard layout, polyphonic pressure and even the dedicated ribbon on top.

I adore my Sensel Morph but one of the weakest points in my opinion (besides the octave range) is velocity sensitivity, which is very important on something like the CS-80, or anything for the matter.
Whereas pressure sensitivity is quite phenomenal and worked way beyond my expectations, especially considering it's on non-moving parts.
Being a flat surface can also be quite disorienting if you're used to the standard keyboard with raised black keys as tactile guides, but that same flat surface is on the other hand what makes it work great for the "X/Y dimensions". Can't have both.
"Note-release" also works quite well (I think it's based on the pressure sensor) which is another thing I hadn't properly experienced before.

Hydrasynth looks like the best thing for an CS-80 emulation, at least until Behringer releases their CS-80 clone with the 5 octave polyphonic pressure keybed, or derived midi controllers.

Gforce seem to be hardcore ARP lovers, so maybe one of them is the Quadra....that would go nicely with their existing Odyssey plugin.

Actually now that you mention it, I think this is what I'm hoping for the most, maybe even more than the CS-80 (though that would make me happy too)
