I bought this and cannot for the life of me get it out of demo mode. It's in my account, i'm logged in on the plugin but it just won't activate. Also downloads and installs the same update, every time I open the plugin.
Anyone else having problems?

Yes, I have the same problem. However the interrupting demo sound bursts seem to be gone. But the demo label is still visible.simmo75 wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 5:30 am I bought this and cannot for the life of me get it out of demo mode. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I’m still getting the demo sound bursts.crisis-at-music wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 6:24 amYes, I have the same problem. Does it install the same version every time you add a new instance too?

Yes, it always downloads and installs the same version on every start of DCO-106.simmo75 wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 6:42 am Does it install the same version every time you add a new instance too?

Not knocking you, and this is mega off topic, if you think that is bad practice, I installed the paid for Star wars Squadrons game and to play it, you have to accept a 46 page user agreement, followed by a 45 page privacy and cookie policy. I rejected these and it wouldn't let me play the game.Erisian wrote: Thu Oct 01, 2020 9:14 pm I tried to run the demo but they insist on a login. I consider this "foot-in-the-door" business tactics and therefore bad ethics. I just uninstalled it. If more of us did this, these developers would soon be forced to change their tactics. I for one will never buy this synth!
Fun times.

The higpass low frequency bump , when adjusting it slighty , we will never get pure saw wave , unlike the original and roland cloud .
The cherry audio kind of skews the top hallf , but will never give a clean saw .
Not a perfect emulation in my book

I just installed this and went through some presets, and it sounds pretty decent, but no velocity sensitivity.
Yeah, I know purists will say that the original Juno does not have velocity sensitivity so neither should this.
But I use to won a Juno and I got rid of it because I wanted to use it as a master keyboard but it did not transmit velocity.
Dave Smith adds velocity and aftertouch to his hardware recreations so why is it not at least an option here in a software instrument ?

There's a VEL slider in the VCA and VCF sections for adding velocity response. The 106 with velocity is really expressive!

Ok, two obvious bugs that should have easily been fixed before release..
1. Presets aren't installed unless you are choosing to install the stand-alone version as well (I never use the stand-alone version for as simple synths as DCO-106 (but I do for Voltage Modular))
2. The plugin version don't keep the size chosen (e.g. 150%), after closing the GUI or the plugin, but the stand-alone version does

Regarding #1, that's not true. Presets are not installed by the installer at all. Rather, they are downloaded by the plugin, so we can add new presets at any time.
As for #2, that's correct, though we are releasing an update next week to correct this oversight.
Thanks!

Yesterday I installed the VST2 and VST3 only. I logged in in the plugin, but not for the whole evening/night, any presets were downloaded. They didn't download automatically today as well. So I tried to install the plugin again (just a few moments ago). Not until I re-installed for the second time, this time choosing the stand-alone as well, and started that version, I could see the presets.cherryDan wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 3:18 pmHi,starflakeprj wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 3:10 pm Ok, two obvious bugs that should have easily been fixed before release..

Maybe they are downloaded automatically, but NOT through the plugin, only when starting the stand-alone version.
Edit: Or there is a write permission issue that doesn't seem to occur in any of the other plugins I have doing the same thing.

Did you purchase from someplace other than the Cherry Audio website? There was a brief situation where purchases made from third-party vendors were not getting the presets.

I purchased through AudioDeluxe, so that explains it maybecherryDan wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 3:49 pm Did you purchase from someplace other than the Cherry Audio website? There was a brief situation where purchases made from third-party vendors were not getting the presets.
