I don't see lag on right click. No difference between 8.6.20 and 8.6.22 in behaviour, either.

That's curiousI'm amazed that you say that it happens always as the first video you shared it seems to only happen in that second project window, not in the first. No?
Are you on windows or macos?
Are you using some special input device or a special setup?
Can you repeat the issue on another computer?
Is anyone else also encountering a delay when popping up context menus?
I'm using a PC Dell M4700 running W10 x64.
I don't know, i'll do a further research about that testing in my another (slower but enough) PC.
I guess i spotted the causant, is in the "Feedback Delay" module loading any module in its slot indeed. Then mapped onto a parameter inside another MUX.Could it be that you're using Parameter Event Generators that are sending out an extreme amount of events?Well, now in another project, suddenly the synths stop working and when i close the program it pops up a notice "Logged 2 errors".
Viewing the log file... i can see the "Error PEG[217]" in it.
What is it means?
thanks again![]()
To reproduce, hit play and then tweak the parameter on PEG module, notice that the synth stoped responding to the sequencer.
The PEG is modulated by an LFO and this one must be conected.
Maybe can be the LFO too..
Edit 20:42hs
I can confirm yes, on Win7 x64. And also, i tested with another version (V6) and, also, i can view that the cursor line of the secuencers has a delay too when changing the position. Can you repeat the issue on another computer?

Converning the slow menus pls try this:
* Quit MuLab
* Goto your MuLab/User/Settings folder and rename Shortcuts.xml to Shortcuts-muted.xml
* Launch MuLab and check the menus
Are the menus still slow in that case?
After this test quit MuLab and in the user folder delete the newly created Shortcuts.xml and revert Shortcuts-muted.xml to its original name (Shortcuts.xml) so you get back your own shortcuts.

Yes that's normal because tracks and racks are independent things.vskunk wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 8:11 am hello Jo, i have notice that when i toggle a track to solo, the button solo is not active on the mixer view, is this a bug or it is normal ?

This recent bug (since the new latency compensation system) will be fixed in the next update.
Thx for reporting this

Is that!, so many shortcuts maybe, but, i like to work with keyboard and MIDI-controllers, it makes more fluid workflow, so, the slow menus makes me break down the flow.mutools wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 8:06 am Converning the slow menus pls try this:

I've taken note of the issue and will see if it can be improved. (may be in M9)FabBad wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 5:01 pm Is that!, so many shortcuts maybe, but, i like to work with keyboard and MIDI-controllers, it makes more fluid workflow, so, the slow menus makes me break down the flow.

It's the default color scheme.
In MuLab 8 -> MuLab menu -> GUI -> Colors -> Presets -> Reset To Defaults

MuLab 8.6.23 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/beta/
What's changed:
Windows: Replace the current MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID by the new versions.
MacOS: Replace the current MuLab.app by the new version.
What's changed:
- Sample Section Player -> Set Interpolation Mode did not work via a shortcut. Fixed.
- The "Drag Parameter" function did not work via a shortcut. Fixed.
- Monitoring keys of a multi-sample did not use the "Preview Monitor" rack if one exists. Fixed.
- Zooming into an audio stream part could sometimes result in an incorrect empty waveform. Fixed.
- Mapping a meta-parameter to a module inside the Modular Feedback Delay could cause incorrect behavior. Fixed.
- When using many shortcuts some menus could popup slower. Fixed.
- Live MIDI input: When note on and note off events arrive at the exact same time it could be that their order was switched. Fixed.
Windows: Replace the current MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID by the new versions.
MacOS: Replace the current MuLab.app by the new version.
