Thanks! Just ordered one directly from Amazon.ca for $259 CAD (~194 USD). It's currently out of stock, but it does say it will ship once it's back in stock.d2dsf wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 2:47 am I don't know if this fits in the other thread, so I'll put it here. If I bought something from Plugin Boutique, in my case Glitchmachines, and want to transfer the license, do I transfer the license via Plugin Boutique? Or would it be via Glitchmachines?

LICENSE TRANSFERS
Subject to our written approval, product licenses purchased directly from our website may be sold/transferred to another user. The new user will then fully own the license to the respective product without any relevant restrictions, however, they will not be able to re-sell/transfer that same license again. To request a license transfer, simply contact us via email along with the original transaction number and product you would like to transfer. You also need to supply us with the first and last name and email address of the new owner. Once a transfer is complete, the previous owner is expected to fully delete the software and any associated sound recordings from their machines. License transfers may take up to 72 hours to complete. We can not authorize or execute license transfers for purchases made through any of our distributors. Purchases made anywhere other than our website will be subject to the policies of the respective distributor.

Oh, I had only skimmed this and missed this part. This implies license transfers may not be possible for licenses bought through other parties like PB.
However, Plugin Boutique says:martinjuenke wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 7:26 am We can not authorize or execute license transfers for purchases made through any of our distributors. Purchases made anywhere other than our website will be subject to the policies of the respective distributor.
So each is shifting responsibility to the other. Maybe you should contact Glitchmachines support directly to clarify what can be done.As we are a third-party reseller we cannot authorise license transfers for products made by other manufacturers. You will need to directly contact the manufacturer of the plugin to request the license transfer, you can find a list of contact details for all our manufacturers here

Also found it more buggy & cpu intense, even it didnt really sound bad.

Yes I got a stuck note that all notes off wouldn't stop so had to close my DAW. Also the presets seem to be horribly out of tune. I mean really out of tune.El°HYM wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 5:21 pm Also found it more buggy & cpu intense, even it didnt really sound bad.
Wusikstation up to version 6 or 7 was pretty rock solid but after that it and the developer both went off the rails.chrisstiles wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 5:34 pm That has been my general experience with all the Wusik software I tried.
EDIT: There is something wrong with the Osc Fine tune. Any value more than +- 1 takes it way out of tune. Happens with the factory presets.

Loving the Cherry Audio DCO-106 Polyphonic Synthesizer. Sounds better (to me) than the official Roland VSTi offering. I owned a 106 in the '80s.

Have I missed it, or is the Plugin Boutique freebie so underwhelming this month that nobody has even bothered to post it?

May be worth noting that on the AudioProductionDeals subreddit Batwaffel who mods it has posted this
So it seems as though JRRShop has been exploited. Whether it's just a surface level issue or whether our personal data on the site has been exposed is unknown at this point but I've decided I'll no longer be posting sales from there until they figure these issues out. I've emailed their support in hopes that I can speak with Uncle E about this issue and find out exactly what is going on but until this is addressed and resolved, I no longer feel comfortable posting them and I recommend avoiding purchasing from this site until we know what is going on because if personal information has been exposed, there is a much bigger risk.
We've seen a lot of reports about people being sent used keys; as far as I am aware, that was because of the rollback they did. Many people, myself included, have not used all the keys we've purchased from this site which may have now been sent to other people so we may want to check that and start using them.
I've been a long time customer and they've always had great customer service but they really need to fix the issues. As a long time customer, this saddens me so hopefully they figure this out quickly and fix these issues that have plagued them the past few years.
I'll keep everyone updated as I find out more.
