Everything that ever needed to be discussed about "rent to own" has been discussed in our company forum.

Probably because they're not really... well, "used"?chk071 wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 10:04 am Yes, that's what I was saying. The used prices are pretty ridiculous. Not just for Diva.

I'm sure the wood polish already has gone off.
Anyway, the used prices are as high as that because of the price scheme. I got Diva for 75 € in the NI price, and, that's as much as I would pay. No way I'd pay 110 € for a used copy, as I often see here... and, I have no idea why they went up like that either. Diva was $85-$90 used here once. I guess it's the same thing happening here as it is described in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=102&t=550865
Basically, ridiculous people pushing their luck, and due to lack of alternatives, people even buy.

yeah you expect to pay less for second hand hardware, because someone has had their grubby mitts all over it. sneezing goo betwen keys, in slider grooves and such business.

If I were very much into authentic analog sound, maybe I would get such an expensive synth. But I think Diva offers so much stuff I don't need, like the oscilloscope or the zillion trimmers (but no global reset it seems, nor a time-saving random setting option like on OBsession?), but frankly, I will never pay a triple-digit price for a two-envelope, two-effect synth. Tal's Mod sounds equally good or even better (to me personally), offers more useful and fewer superfluous features, and costs just 1/3rd. And that guy lives in super expensive Switzerland, not Berlin.

Buy it from JRR shop with the discount code "group" if you want it cheaper than on the U-He website.

Thanks for that. Do you know if they'll do something for Black Friday? 150 USD is still a lot for this VST.briefcasemanx wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 6:30 pm Buy it from JRR shop with the discount code "group" if you want it cheaper than on the U-He website.

I know right. Totally agree on your points. Thinking of going for an analog synth on Black Friday, this will be much better I think (more expensive, but more straightforward to use and better sound).e-crooner wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 6:26 pm If I were very much into authentic analog sound, maybe I would get such an expensive synth. It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Guy got banned by mods today because he bragged in our forum that his "free" is pirated stuff.resistent wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 2:48 pmI'm always interested in freeware setups. What are you using? Vital seems crazy good for a "free" synth, although I did not had time to test vital yet.matteoluigiodaro wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 7:56 pmI don't know since 98% of my VST come for freeATS wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 3:24 amWhat VST would this not be a lot?matteoluigiodaro wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 2:32 amThanks for that.
