What's going on over at adsrsounds.com? I learned that they have Venomode Phrasebox at 50% off but when I try to purhase the server throws 500 HTTP ERROR at me. I've tried a few times since yesterday. I'm guessing it's a temporary problem, but maybe someone has seen an announcement or something?

Doesn't even come up with a price for me. Are they out of SN's? I missed the last sale on it. I want to buy it but not at full price.

Ha, the PA extension is actually useful for me, since I'm trying to decide between Diezel Herbert and Diezel VH4.

Have you demoed these side by side? They sound different but what won me over with the excellent VH4 is the 4 channels - go through each channel to get 'the best sound' and since settings are saved you can then flick between 4 channel tones from ballsy clean to crunch to heavy rhythm and lead. Very nice amp sim that one.

Anybody know what's up with the new version of Izotope Nectar? It says it's included in the Tonal Balance Bundle, which I own, but I don't seem to be licensed for 3.3 (the product portal downloads points me to 3.2, and installing 3.3 manually gives me the demo), and there is no upgrade offer to be found in my account.

It says it's included in the Tonal Balance Bundle, which I own, but I don't seem to be licensed for 3.3 (the product portal downloads points me to 3.2, and installing 3.3 manually gives me the demo), and there is no upgrade offer to be found in my account.

The do not have in account upgrade offers for everything. However, if you contact their support they will most likely give you a personalized upgrade price which usually is quite good. I did hat a few times with minor point updates of their bundles.

I picked this up because I get a 35% additional off. But it is really the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor of which I have PA's version. Well, I have both of PA's versions. Anyone compare them?

Here's the thing: Acustica plugins are resource hogs and buggy and laggy too, so if you dont trust your ears for the marginal difference then dont bother buying Aquamarine. In fact, unless you specifically use Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor you really dont need it, I think a lot of people think they 'should' need it but in reality its not a very flexible compressor duo, it can color the sound too much comparatively and its attack and release action are nowhere near as exciting as alternatives in my opinion. Basically, your money may be spent on better bargains, what with Black Friday around 5 weeks away....

I prefer the boxtone of Aquamarine over the PA versions. I use just enough of the compression to get the needles moving. IMO, it imparts a nice analog color to acoustic instruments.

Thanks! That's kind of what I wanted to hear. My computer is pretty powerful, so the Acustica plugins aren't really a problem.
