Anyone familiar with Busyboxx and the deal posted in the no chat section. Trying read through their terms its hard to tell if the video content is can be used freely for my own productions or they retain rights. Also seems to be a subscription membership: I'd rather buy the content, download and thats it.

I'm not familiar with them, but I'm interested in that deal too.Kurdish Mayfield wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 7:42 pm Anyone familiar with Busyboxx and the deal posted in the no chat section. This is what it says on the deal page:
100% ROYALTY-FREE
CREATIVE CONTENT
Pay once and use our products in as many creative projects as you like, with no limits or additional fees.
This seems to imply you can the content in which ever way you like in your own productions and they don't retain the rights to your production.
Usually, most of these types of product have a clause that don't allow you to distribute the content "as-is" as your own and must be used in a derivative product (but I don't see it mentioned on the deal page).

If its to use in derivative content then thats what I want. However the Terms are confusing given a quick skim thru. I might go in on this depending how I have to pay. If its credit card only; I'm not sure if signing up enrolls one into a subscription that has to be paid out over time. They're allowed themselves the right to pull content at any time with no refunding (if I read that right). If its PP ,I would buy and download immediately. We'll seeSolarAxix wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 7:48 pmI'm not familiar with them, but I'm interested in that deal too.Kurdish Mayfield wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 7:42 pm Anyone familiar with Busyboxx and the deal posted in the no chat section. I went in...seems legit. After registration , taken to a buy page and Pay Pal is an option. Then a page with link to the files. Seems each vid has to be downloaded individually and there are a lot. Upside is that each is previewable before downloading and the speeds are the fastest I've ever seen, 6.3mb/sec. As long as Access isnt changed this seems to be a great deal

I picked that up because I do need clips like that once in a while. After you purchase it they entice you into buying a second set of 10 volumes for another $29. It is decent content, certainly worthwhile the price. Would have been nice if some of the clips would loop but that does not seem to be the case which restricts usage a bit.Kurdish Mayfield wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 7:42 pm Anyone familiar with Busyboxx and the deal posted in the no chat section. Just be aware that the clips come in at an average of about 1 GB per clip. If you buy into the second set you end up with 20 volumes with well over 2.000 clips in total. So be prepared to download 2-3 Terabyte of content.
Edit: and you need Adobe After Effects for the titles and slideshows. The titles are actually really nice.

BusyBoxx will only let you download 5 files every 5 mins. The downloads are fast, but if you want to download all the content you will spend a long time doing it. There is no easy way to automate the downloading and no bulk downloading options. Many of the files are two separate files as well. So you start 5 downloads then have to wait till at least 5 mins have past before you can start the next batch of 5. It makes downloading everything you bought nearly impossible. Quality is good but the no way to download without tracking and clicking on each download link by hand really kills it.

As long as they live up to their perpetual accessibility as promised, it would be easy to access these as needed. Otherwise you can just spread the downloading out over days or weeks. The speeds are super fastmsorrels wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 9:47 pm BusyBoxx will only let you download 5 files every 5 mins. Apparently TC Electonics and Brainworx will now be working together https://www.brainworx.audio/. The TC logo is now listed on the BX website. Looks like Uri and Dirk are now in partnership we could be getting TC branded plugins like the reverbs and the powercore stuff in the PA store.

Does anyone know if Groove Agent 5 SE content can be used with Halion Sonic SE 3? If so, how?
I have Cubase Elements 10, but I am only interested in the content that comes with it. I can use Halion Sonic SE 3 in FL Studio and use all its content. Since GA 5 SE can only be used inside Cubase (and I don't want to install it), I was wondering if I could use the GA sounds in some way.
Thanks in advance.

AFAIK Groove Agent content is only usable inside Groove Agent SE or the full Groove Agent

It's annoying that the 50% off Groove Agent or expansions sale ends October 26, and they probably won't be on sale around BF. Maybe just as well though, since there are almost certainly better options for the Decompose feature with better sales coming around BF, and I should transition to using Cubase as my primary DAW anyway.
Also very annoying that if I ever wanted to sell GA or the expansions I'd need to physically mail an e-licenser.
