Building a proper FM synthesis template in MSF including x/y preset morphing

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to realize let's say an eight-op-FM-synthesis template in MSF, and then add such a X-Y preset morphing feature like FM8 has built-in, so you can load 4 presets for each edge, and then morph between those to quickly find interesting results. Ultimatively it would be even greater, if you could morph live/automated, which FM8 is not really capable of, because of stepping effect.
Plus, having fancy free feedback routing of anything into anything, routing any feedback into any feedback.
Plus storing the current morphing state to A,B,C or D.
What do you think, is and how it is possible?

You can morph live and automate it in FM8 - always have been able to.

Guess it just depends on what you start with and I find a certain amount of randomness in the morph grid helps too

That's how I understood it. A bit like setting Bank 1 values on A..H slot A, Bank 2 values on slot B, Bank 3 values on slot C and Bank 4 values on slot D. Then morphing between those.
