The same happens at Best Service... they open the box, and sent you the serial for the digital version.

In the US, I could only find Alto Music with 15% that worked on Komplete 13. If you're outside of New York, California, and one other state I can't recall, you don't have to pay taxes. So About $425 with free shipping. I guess it's worth waiting for the hard drive with that savings.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 9:40 pmI ordered from Thomann, who I think are in Germany. It was a boxed item but I asked them if I could just be sent the serial, which they grabbed from inside the box with no shipping (so I saved on those charges). I told them to give the hard drive to an employee.GMusic wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 1:55 pm Besides NI, does anybody sell the digital version of Komplete 13?
They were very helpful.

Wow that pretty nice, on both sides.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 9:40 pmI ordered from Thomann, who I think are in Germany. Well, I guess most screens "in the field" are still 1080p. So we can call this the "natural" or intuitive definition of "the standard", albeit I wouldn't call any facts bentchk071 wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 9:28 pmThat's just not true. 1080p is still the standard and widely used in computing.gExpectations wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 8:34 pmI didn't specify a use, I specified a context. You know you can make music, without working in the music industry.vurt wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 8:21 pmwhat else am i going to use ni stuff for?gExpectations wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 7:08 pm 1080p is kinda legacy. Sure, if you work in music, probably sticking to 1080p is wise but for everyone else its a joke.
edit: that is to mean: I can understand that if you use your computer only to make music on it probably because you earn your livelihood with it, you are incentivized to use a 1080p screen. Everyone else isn't.
I can understand that you want the plugins to resize, because you use a higher resolution, but, there's no point in bending facts for that.

I wish that one day sad Cubase users like me will get GR6 as VST3 so we could use sidechain (creating quadro channels is a joke not real solution) like users of eg. Live.
Modulations in GR are awesome (I'm gladthat I chose GR6 over MixBox). I'm using it in every GR unit. It's huge boost to creativity and spund design. Lack of SC is taking away a lot of additional fun.
Unfortunately I know that it's pointless to ask NI for VST3 because it will not happen earlier than in GR7 in 2030.

Btw does anyone else is getting phase issues in Dirt and Bite (and some other modules, don't remember which ones now) for wet/dry? Especially when used internally in parallel (SplitMix). Feels like latency is not compensated or wrongly calculated. It's impossible to use them in parallel now.

I think there won't be any this year. Komplete 13 just came out, and, when K12 came out in late 2018, they didn't have sales on upgrades after that either.
If I had to guess, I would say that summer 2021 will be your best bet.

Summer 21 is fine for me, even though I would have loved to upgrade in November.
