Soundwise it is almost the opposite of Sylenth1 in my view. Element is a bit brutish and harsh. Good for more aggressive, weird sounds.martinjuenke wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2020 10:27 am I've got it for free and with that price it's worth to have it.
Waves Element(29$ today only) vs Sylenth1(139eu permanently)

I would do the latter. It's always cleaner that way, who knows if there isn't any registry keys left, or configuration files.e-crooner wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2020 1:22 pmI found the Element VST3 shell thingy in Windows Explorer. Can I simply delete it or should I reinstall the whole Waves app in order to delete the plugin first?chk071 wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2020 9:41 am You should uninstall the plugins before you uninstall the Waves Central.

I actually found its oscillators to be "thick" by nature. Most synths you have to employ half a dozen techniques to thicken up a patch, that's not really the case here. Though, its been out for quite some time now and there are probably more modern entries on the market that get there as well.
It's not a wavetable synth, just a pure 2 oscillator, 1 sub, 1 noise basic type of synth, but it's thick.
