So I finished a project and I had like 3 tracks’ volume normalisied, and when I try exporting it to an audio file, nevermind if it’s WAV or mp3
A few of the tracks are not getting out to the mix, while I’m exporting I can see their volume getting down to 0
I tried playing with the automation but I can’t seem to get those tracks exported
I’m adding a video, glad to be helped, thanks!

It looks like you have the automation turned off. Do the volumes turn down when you play or only when rendering?
Which exact version of Waveform are you running?
Which exact version of Waveform are you running?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

What do you mean turned off? Didn’t know it was an option, how did you catch it from the video?pough wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2020 5:20 pm It looks like you have the automation turned off. Do the volumes turn down when you play or only when rendering?

The control panel has two toggle buttons for automation. The green one is reading automation. If it's off, any automation is ignored. It should work for playback and rendering. Your read automation seems to be turned off because it's grey and not green.
You can have automation on a track even if you can't see it. Click on the little A to inspect. If you have automation on a track that you can't see, it will show up green. If the automation isn't hidden, it will be green with a check mark. To show hidden automation, just select it in the menu shown below.
The way that the volumes suddenly turn down looks like automation to me. I don't know how that works with read automation turned off. Do you have some control devices attached that might be sending messages?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I have a minicontrol keyboard, I have no idea why it is like that, but the guy in the video fixed my problem.pough wrote: Tue Oct 13, 2020 4:21 pm The control panel has two toggle buttons for automation. Now I have something a lot more annoying, a hissing sound every 15 seconds or so, tried registering, try reinstalling
Nothing helps.. do you might have a solution?

Check you have registered all the plugins too - if you have downloaded any of the premium plugins they make the same nag noise if unregistered or out of demo period

Do a quick test - create a new project. MT power drums doesn't "hiss". If there's noise, it'll be Waveform isn't registered (properly). I believe it does this even if you aren't in playback.
Then add the other ones, one by one. You don't have to record anything, just load. When you hear the hiss, you've found the culprit. Give each 1 minute to "complain", and if you have silence, that isn;'t the one. Even some of the little plugins included with Waveform will do that - graphic EQ, reverb, etc.

Peter (as usual) is correct about hissing. Often, for me, an OS update will deregister my plug ins.
The biggest victims are usually Waveform itself, Collective, and any of the Retromods. A quick log-in from the plug in will fix it, but if I have multiple instances of the same plug in, I *have* had to log in from each instance of it to make it go away. Usually not, but it has happened.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

If you have found a solution to your problem it might be helpful to other users to know what it was.
