What is the thought process behind Signal A have a "Flattening" function and Signal B have a "Whitening" function instead?
Could future versions have both "Flattening" and "Whitening"?

It kinda evolved from many experiments. Seems like the missing ones just didn't have any useful effect. Sorry won't be added.
