FR: MSF Feedback Routing in the GENERATOR Section

I was thinking about using some feedback routing features in MSF.
It seems MSF already has feedback routing features in the FX Section (FB Bus 1-16), but not in the GENERATOR Section.
Is there any way to use following functions in the GENERATOR Section?
- make some feedback loops (like in the FX section)
- receive feedback signals from the FX feedback bus(1-16)
Of course I know some modules in the GENERATOR Section (ex. Delay) have feedback features. But I don't think these are the solutions.

If I remember correctly, Peter has done some nice feedback routing into the generator section using a DC and a custom modulator. You could search the thread, it should be somewhere here.

Thank you Whywhy!
I found the thread below and I could make a simple feedback loop in GENERATOR Section.

I think this method would solve following.

I'm afraid feedback is currently not available in the generator and I don't really plan for it, long tech story. What peter did is kinda a hack
, not sure if it will work everywhere and always

Oh, you don't plan to implement feedback...
I feel a little disappointed about that but I understood.

I think this method would solve following.
Though it is not the "real thing" as in analog synth feedback. In the 80ties analog synth Octave Cat you could for instance feed the headphone out into the analog in...
And secondly I'm struggling with my little synth that I'm building now for a while. I have added a peter-design feedback AND combined it with a safety limiter in the fb-line in order to avoid uncontrolled behaviour.
But when I use fast envelope release times then I get cracks and pops at that safety limiter.
You can see what I mean looking at the two pictures. Mean to say - as Melda said my feedback "design" is experimental. You might get unexpected behaviour ...
Nevertheless the adds some nice crunch to my synth. Hope I can find a way to take care of the crackles and pops and be able to release it "soon".
This one shows the position of the Limiter in the fb line This one shows the spikes I get at the limiter. The spikes occure form time to time right after releasing the note.

Good to hear, that you still developing the synth!] Peter:H [ wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 9:14 am Nevertheless the adds some nice crunch to my synth. Hope I can find a way to take care of the crackles and pops and be able to release it "soon".
But the issues with fast envelope release, haven't they been there even before the feedback implementation?
Last chance
