Anyone happen to know if when Bitwig does their official sale, if plugin stores can still add their standard discount on top of that?

Yes, we can. They usually do 2-3 sales per year, I imagine the next will be in November.ericzang wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 9:37 pm Anyone happen to know if when Bitwig does their official sale, if plugin stores can still add their standard discount on top of that?

Is the latest version of Bitwig significantly less buggy than 2.4.3? I'm not enthusiastic about the Grid or the other additions (will probably just end up wasting a little more SSD space...). But fewer crashes / plugin compatibility bugs (the one where the DearVRPro window gets bigger every time I open it, until it's completely unusable, is... a big one) would be worth the BF price....

I reckon that Accusonus is going to have a BF sale again this year... does anyone happen to remember whether the upgrade from Regroover Essential to Pro was discounted last year?
(the "can´t wait for BF" solution - @Uncle E : Any chance you´ll be able to offer said upgrade for less than Accusonus´ $119?)

Are there any promocodes / discount codes available for Bitwig that are suitable for use to renew the upgrade plan? Some youtubers have promo codes but can't find one that's working ..

Unfortunately, the Regroover Upgrade doesn't seem to be available to resellers.epiphaneia wrote: Sat Oct 17, 2020 11:32 am (the "can´t wait for BF" solution - @Uncle E : Any chance you´ll be able to offer said upgrade for less than Accusonus´ $119?)

Not exactly a bargain or deal, but just giving everyone with mDrummer the heads up that Melda have just released their long awaited Drum Empire 2020 library and it's free for mDrummer users.

Warning - it's a 57GB download!

MDrummer is also on sale for 50% off for the next 13 days. It's still a bit pricey, but with the four free expansion packs it's pushing 80GB of content. I should take a look at some videos and see what the working method is like, and if it might be an interesting alternative to Jamstix ...WatchTheGuitar wrote: Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:32 pm Not exactly a bargain or deal, but just giving everyone with mDrummer the heads up that Melda have just released their long awaited Drum Empire 2020 library and it's free for mDrummer users.

Would be interested in your conclusions. FWIW I think that as of jamstix 4 - you get pretty decent results for most genres bar any kind of electronic music. GUI is still pretty bad though.Ceej wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 2:45 am MDrummer is also on sale for 50% off for the next 13 days. I actually own Jamstix 4 and most of the expansions. I think it's an amazing and sadly underrated piece of software. Still, while I admit I haven't used it enough yet, I've not managed to get completely comfortable with it. I also suffer from a common mental ailment that causes me to believe that the solution to any problems is buying a new piece of software. So, here we are.chrisstiles wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 7:37 am Would be interested in your conclusions. Yeah, I have it too and think it's underrated -- and suspect that a lot of people are put off by the interface -- the actual functionality is all there, it probably lacks the number of samples there are in other tools, but it doesn't actually lack much.Ceej wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:01 amI actually own Jamstix 4 and most of the expansions.
