That's an odd one! They are probably having issues with their OpenGL GUI backend (our plug-ins windows do not have anything special). Which version of MacOS are you running?

On two different Mac. iMac with 10.14.6 and MBP with 10.15. Same issu on both.

I also contacted Waves about this, we are awaiting their response.
(btw, no such an issu under ProTools)

So, here is their answer:
« Please note that Blue Cat Audio's patchwork is not officially supported with Waves latest software version.
This does not necessarily mean that it won’t work, just that our software was not designed for it nor tested and qualified to run with it.
Due to this fact, we do not have a knowledge-base of possible issues. It might work fine, but if it doesn't we will not be able to assist. »
