How do I import the MIDI loops into my DAW? I do not want them as a piano roll triggering loops. I want the different drum hits so I can edit in the daw and not inside Mdrummer. Some of the factory loops are great but the interface is for developers and engineers only and I am just a musician.
Mac Pro 3,2Ghz - 10TB - 20GB, Cubase 10 + 8 + 7 + 5 + 4, Logic X, Yamaha 01v96, Hammerfall RAYDAT.

Loop Selector Panel above the Loop Editor> the little arrow far right.
Also:
1/ Loop Editor> Functions> Export MIDI. Exports a single loop to a file, then drag into DAW.
2/ In Song tab set up a Rhythm using the loop or loops you want, then drag the whole Rhythm to DAW from the MIDI button.
Depending on the project and what sort of style etc, what I do usually:
I start with MIDI commands playing ballpark Rhythm and Drumset, adjust things as I go, trying out different 'levels' for different sections, and homing in on specific rather than random breaks etc.
I then record the MIDI output as the project plays, switch to Drum Pad mode, then get stuck into detailed editing in DAW.
The initial MIDI command thing triggering Rhythms seems to save a lot of time, I'm editing the ballpark of the whole piece rather than building up from single loops.
