It´s great. but not so great that we have to download 80gb to update a few samples in a library...

Shade 1.1.0 is online, including the new limiter, band soloing, curve dragging feature, a new preferences panel, sidechain display on the spectrum analyzer, new presets, and more. :)
Complete changelog is available there : https://uvi.s3.amazonaws.com/Release_No ... ngelog.pdf
Cheers,
Thanks for the update. Changelog not updated though.

here, changelog features v1.1.0 changes...(?)

Post

from the changelog:
- NEW : Band solo
this only works with newly created patches ?
not with old ones?
at least with all of the presets the solo function seems to be greyed out...

Oh hell yes, nice one!! Keep improving though, there were other cool ideas :D. But honestly, this plugin is really great! Becoming my absolute favourite fx tool easily.

Side note: Personally I would prefer if the regular double click would bypass the filters, not delete them. Not sure how others feel, probably personal preference.

For now it's only working with the Resonant and Eqing filter types.

This is quite interesting, I wish other people could give their feedback on that point too.

Definitely bypass over delete. Easier to toggle.

imho "normaly" (whatever that is) double-click would be reset (to default value)

it's at least logic's behaviour or u-he's or quite a lot of others...

Hello,

Where is the vst3 file installed on windows?

Edit: Found in Common folder.

Thanks!

A better idea would be to put an option in preferences menu to either delete or bypass. Everyone gets happy!

Personally I also like the double click to reset features on the parameters as well.

But on the filters themselves the bypass would work much better for a fluid workflow imo. That's because I'm quick to compare, while deleting is comparatively more deliberate. And often times I also toggle between a bypassed/unbypassed signal, while deleting is a one-time, permanent action.
Louis Couka wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:28 pm For the Shape feature we had the oppurtunity to morph between gaussian/uniform distribution via a mapper, but I'm not sure that it's a game changer feature.
Not sure about game changer, but I think this would still be a useful feature to have. I think a randomized gaussian mapper is pretty cool by itself (it's quite nice in Pigments for example). And with a morph feature you could accentuate either the high or low values, as a result changing the probability of what values are being output. That and S&H :)

So, i'd really like to demos this :) Is there a version available that doesn't crash AU?

I am still surprised more people dont use beta distributions rather than gaussian or uniform. With beta distribution you have two parameters and can change the distribution smoothly from extreme bimodal (extreme ends have high probability, middle has low) through to very good approximations of uniform and gaussian as well as whatever skew you want. Beta with an XY pad gets pretty much everything
