I like the simplicity of the current Shape Sequencer though, I would hate for it to change. It's the only modulator of it's kind that I actually use because most other offerings are needlessly complex and tedious. It's fast and it's fun, especially when intermodulate its lanes with one another or other mod sources.

I think an expanded version would be better suited to Zebra3 which will be more of a power synth/workstation.

I think the main reason they wouldn't get rid of the shape editor is that it would break presets and there are those that like it. I could get a lot more use out of it if there was a mode that doesn't retrigger with every new note. I do like your idea though.

I'd like a DAW sync option mode too, provided it didn't break anything in the process.

Maybe a button that flips the shaper backwards, and it looks like an editable LFO? That might be a nice compromise?
