Yes, I realize it's an MDrummer Pack and I'm pretty certain the answer in "no", but I just thought I'd ask...

no. MDrumEnhancer is an effect. MDrummer is an instrument. although, in MXXX you can use MDrummmer, also in MSoundFactory (i think even without a license for MDrummer, but i don't know, i have both...).mibby wrote: Wed Oct 21, 2020 4:04 pm Yes, I realize it's an MDrummer Pack and I'm pretty certain the answer in "no", but I just thought I'd ask...![]()

MDrumEnhancer can use any single drum sample on your hard drive. It works by analysing the properties of that sample.
Drum Empire stuff is all multi-sampled (several velocity layers in one file) so not suitable (and don't load).
MDrumReplacer can use Empire multisamples.

It's DRUM LIBRARY directory is actually the MDrummer\ Drumsets\ Components directory, which includes the Drum Empire components.
[EDIT: But can also go straight to the DRUM EDITOR tab and access any sample on your computer in the 'Sampler' tab> Root path> Global.]
Works well, can E.G. replace a normal snare with a brushed snare swipe, or a bass drum with a woodblock!
Still beta though, selecting certain components crashes REAPER.
It's been around for some time (a year?), I think it's on the shelf.

I will say though, that MDrumEnhancer is sooooo quick and easy to use, that allowing for the Melda packs (if possible) would make this awesome plugin even more awesome.goldglob wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2020 9:35 am MDrumEnhancer can use any single drum sample on your hard drive. (Note: This is my perspective without having tried MDrumReplacer yet...)

Bump. Same question since MDrumEnhancer is on the Eternal Madness sale this week...
I haven't even felt the need to try a drum replacement plugin since getting MDrumEnahncer. I happen to think a plugin like this, especially with an expanded high quality library, could really take off in the market because of how easy it is to use.
Now I'm wondering if Vojtek can find a way to make them work in MDrumEnhancer? (since the Melda drum libraries are proprietary and of Vojtech's own creation) This plugin is soooooo quick and easy to use.goldglob wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2020 9:35 am MDrumEnhancer can use any single drum sample on your hard drive.
