An e-Mail informed me that they were setting up a new website/store.
Looking at the image on the website, I don't think I'm familiar with that white GUI for Ohmboyz. Seems sharp, much more modern and almost readable?

I would be so happy if they updated Ohmicide.

It's a forthcoming update to Ohmboyz. Yes, I care. Been using their stuff since pre-Vst DirectX days, and glad they are still in the game.

Ohmboyz, Mobilohm, and another that escapes my mind now were three of the first effects plugins I ever purchased a hundred years ago.
I haven't cared about them for years since I didn't pay for the 64 bit updates.
I've been getting emails from them too but can't get excited about the new site.....

this is only about the delay "Ohmboyz Infinity" and a relaunch i guess. i don't think there's any updates to other plug ins.. but it'd be a nice surprise.
Ohmforce has chimed in this thread from time to time if you want to read back through it for hints on the future and their looooonnnnnnggg term plans.

Ah, yes, that's an infinity sign, then. Makes sense.
Oh, Google let me go around the start page:
https://blog.ohmforce.com/2020-catalina ... -releases/
So there is a plan to update at least the big three -supposedly- this year. I really am intrigued.

Honestly, I sorta forgot about them and haven't used my Ohmforce plugins for as long as I can recall. That OhmBoyz update does look appealing, though... If they update Ohmicide and a few others in similar fashion, that would certainly grab my attention again.

And they worked together on at least one of G-forces major projects/releases. (iirc)gentleclockdivider wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 9:49 pm Back in the day , Ohmforce and G-force were at the forefront of vst tech , great to see Ohmforce back Did their online collab daw ever take off ?

When I started getting serious about production, these guys were the plugins to have (as well as a few others!). But that was quite a while back. I doubt they will ever get back to the heights they once reached. There are so many great devs around these days as well.

Yes I do care as I still use Ohmicide a lot, BUT it will be a paid upgrade, as they charged to implement 64bit versions of their plugins which left a bitter taste in my mouth at the time.
Depends on the pricing tbh, and what the actual upgrade could be, unless its a V2 then I'd kinda be more sympathetic

And unless they update the algorithms or crank up oversampling, you should be able to run hundreds of instances
