I never thought of those as very important in Hive since we have two filters that can be run in parallel and I think most diphthongs work just fine with two formants.

(I was considering to upgrade Hive's EQ to Repro's ResQ though... which would add another set of formants... haven't gotten there, though)

Sure, but you'll have to waste both filters for that.

If i want a lead that morphs between a "vowelized" sound and clean sound I don't see how it's possible in Hive.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Definitely!
Could you please offer an option to switch off this scope and maybe to switch off all animation ?

Tip: For "vowelized sounds", use Wavetables.

Okay, that makes sense especially as i could cross-fade that with another osc. Basically an example of what is want is some kind of a regular subtactive lead sound which gradually transforms into a "singing" synth, something like the Repro preset "vocaleze lead"

What wavetable would be a good starting point for a "singing" synth sound?

And that would be great too. Iirc, that Vocaleze lead in Repro uses ResQ and it sounds amazing.

Smooth Vox or Soft Formants :)

Look in the "Formants" folder (e.g. Smooth Vox.wav, Redux Vox 1, Vox 1…)
Yeah, just found these, thanks :) They indeed provide exactly the sounds for which i typically reach for a formant filter in other synths

Two filters for each Osc would be awesome.

Not if low CPU intent behind Hive is supposed to be kept.

+1 for ResQ

Are there any plans to add a reverse One Shot mode for the Shape Sequencers?
Always Read the Manual!

No, but in 2.1 you can set Timing to "Halt" and modulate Shape Position for each output (A, B, C, D) independently. This gives you a lot more control over what's happening including the option to do reverse one shot shape sequences.

Cool, that'll get the job done all the same :)
