I have:
Eventide SP2016
Slate VerbSuite
Liquidsonics Seventh Heaven Pro, Lustrous Plates
Valhalla Room, VintageVerb, Plate, SuperMassive
Arturia Plate 140
PSP 2445
Exponential PhoenixVerb, R4, Nimbus
IK Sunset Sound, T Racks 5 CSR
Softube TSAR-1R
Soundtoys Little Plate
and possibly more I've forgotten
They all have their uses and sound different, but I tend to use VerbSuite the most because it's so versatile and the controls make it so simple. My advice would be to buy one reverb and learn it. While I have a ton of choice, it's not always the best thing, and the reality is I could make almost any of these work if I had to.
But I'm a junkie so I'll be spending Black Friday considering:
Eventide Blackhole
Relab
Lexicon PCM
Transatlantic Plate
Liquidsonics Cinematic Rooms Pro, Reverberate 3
Reverb Foundry HD Cart
Acon Verberate
2C Audio
GoodHertz MegaVerb
Native Instruments RC 48 and 24
Eventide SP2016
Slate VerbSuite
Liquidsonics Seventh Heaven Pro, Lustrous Plates
Valhalla Room, VintageVerb, Plate, SuperMassive
Arturia Plate 140
PSP 2445
Exponential PhoenixVerb, R4, Nimbus
IK Sunset Sound, T Racks 5 CSR
Softube TSAR-1R

Same price range, probably slightly better.

Eh, I got one of those last Black Friday, and they don't even have tweakable parameters. The best you can do is fill one with people for a damping effect.
On topic, my favorite reverb is Live Suite's Convolution Reverb Pro. I've been looking at Reverberate 3, and will sample it to see if I like it better (I don't like Ableton's tiny interfaces.

My personal favorite reverb is Liquidsonics Cinematic Rooms. I would go for the non-pro version on a budget, and then later upgrade to the pro version when opportunities allow - maybe Black Friday. What really sold me on the pro version was when I put it as a send on a quad channel, followed by a mixdown utility to convert from quad to stereo. I use Cubase but I think just about any DAW can do this.
What's great about using the quad version is you can send the source to independently controlled front and rear surround reverbs. Making subtle changes between them results in a depth and wraparound sensation that to me sets this reverb apart - though it can get overly dense if you're not careful. Here's a Liquidsonics post that describes using the quad to stereo feature in more detail: https://www.liquidsonics.com/2020/06/17 ... fessional/

Space Master is really great if you want giant spacey reverbs. Not quite so strong on smaller spaces, but still very good.
Eventide Blackhole also does this pretty well, but I think 2CAudio Breeze maybe has the edge on this verb as it is just that bit smoother and also pretty good value.
Valhalla are pretty decent and very usable.
Have to say, though never popular on KVR, the UAD Reverbs are ALL fantastic!
