The newer sdx titles are not included. Great sale to pick up the older ones though.Etienne1973 wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2020 9:31 pmSDX expansions right now at jrrshop.com on sale.Kevin63101 wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2020 8:33 pmBest deal on newer sdx releases (under 2 years since release) is to watch for a guitar center or musicians friend 10%-15% coupon. Yea I tend to take these "gifts" with a grain of salt. Call me cynical. Anyway, I took some time to scan all of the PC effects files and I know some may think "oh it's just a false positive."
I just say meh, not worth it, not worth even installing.
I always say, if some plugin developers can pack their software without anything malicious being flagged why can't the others? So here's my findings, in case it helps others, 13 of the folders had something. Up to you though what ya want to do.

Dude, most of your "finds" aren't even real finds but high scores (or even just medium scores) by the heuristics engines and AIs that are known for a high count of FPs.
And it's actually not just "some" of us but over 98% of the virus scanner apps you used yourself that think it's just FPs

Funny though how most developers don't have or need these "real finds" in their installers hmmm.Nobdi wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2020 11:46 pm Dude, most of your "finds" aren't even real finds but high scores (or even just medium scores) by the heuristics engines and AIs that are known for a high count of FPs.

I never said the sky was falling due to these finds anyway, I merely put them up for others to be aware. And if you think it's all good because they are just FPS, knock yourself out buddy

No, that is entirely untrue. The following plugins (off the top of my head) are better than most paid plugins:v1o wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2020 8:18 pm Just delete the whole thing as is typical of magware none of it is useful anyway.
- U-he Bazille CM. Less oscillators than it's big brother, but this one synth alone is pretty epic.
- U-he Zebra CM. Another U-he synth. The UI is dated, but again the sound is impeccable.
- Dmitry Sches Thorn CM. I mean, this is *barely* cut down from the full version. Incredible.
- Toneboosters Sibilance CM. Can't even buy a version this from Toneboosters.
- Toneboosters Barricade CM. Likely the best available free/magware limiter available anywhere.
I'm certainly not a fan of adware being installed on my computer either, but to say that none of this is useful is disingenuous at best.

My only issue with using CM plugins is they don't seem to be supported as a typically released plugin might be directly from the developer. As a result, they're less likely to remain updated and probably are going to have to keep the installer handy (I don't trust filesilo).
But I retain and work on projects for years (or decades)... so maybe my application is a bit different than most.

Plugin Boutique: until November 15, get Ozone, Neutron, or Nectar Elements free with any 1x purchase.
https://www.pluginboutique.com/articles/1662
Now this is ambiguous. It says "and", so literally, it would mean you can get all 3 products if you make 3 separate purchases, but not sure that's what they really mean. Each customer is eligible to claim 1 x copy of Neutron, Ozone and Nectar Elements.

The graphic reads "or" with the tagline "which will you choose". I mean each one of them has been offered as a freebie at Plugin Boutique as well as other places this year. I'm guessing it's good for people that missed some of those? Nothing for me this month.

That's clear for individual purchases, but what about your second and third purchases of the month? I don't think you can "collect them all" for free, but that's just my assumption. I'm sure they'll clarify.autodafe wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 8:18 pm "one plugin free with any purchase", means "only one of the three"![]()
