jp008 wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2020 6:36 pm Uhhh.. if the sound library includes human voices, then it sure does determine it's purpose. Because that's what I'm inquiring about. So, then there aren't any human voices included in that huge sound library then? Only sound effects and creatures ? That seems a bit strange, doesn't it? Kinda like you.
No, it doesnt seem strange. And it seems idiotic to say that its strange. Kinda like you.
Well, not quite sure if that insult at the end was necessary. But whyterabbyt is right. Absolutely nothing strange about that.

It's idiotic to wonder why there are only animal voices rather than human voices included in a huge sound sample library for use with voice replacement?
Which bit of 'Reformer isnt intended for voice replacement' is confusing you?

Because its definitely idiotic to ask why a tool not intended for a purpose doesnt come with samples for the purpose its not intended for.
Wow.. and to think you paid $399 for that. Hahahah My sincere apologies. Yeah, I must be strange.
No, I didnt pay $399 for Reformer Pro. Because I dont own it. And its not for voice replacement. Try keeping up.

If I was buying it, it would be for its actual purpose (sound design) instead of the completely different purpose you think that ought to be (voice replacement).

Yeah, so are Krotos, they think Reformer is for sound design too. Do feel free to tell them its actually a voice replacement tool, on account of all those human voice libraries they dont make for it.
Reformer Pro is a unique ‘sound design instrument’, that transforms pre-recorded audio files into performable sound effect libraries in real-time via a microphone, input audio file or MIDI controller.

I see. So, a tool for "sound designers" doesn't include human voices. Got ya.. :tu:

Usually, a sound designer would use his or her own voice to drive the sound effects with such tools. Be careful with your insults if you do not really know what you are talking about.

Correct, this particular tool for sound designers doesnt include human voices. Glad you're finally getting there.

Hopefully you can eventually grasp that this tool is to articulate non-human-voice sounds with a human voice, but...

Waiting for the "No no, but if we can articulate a human voice with a human voice using this tool then that's what this tool is for" protestation...

Krotos, completely missing the point that this is all about the human voice sounds.

Who said I'm upset? You're just the type of person who chooses to limit himself, so I guess.. To each his own !
