An oldie, but I just tried the demo and f**k me for not doing so earlier. I think I was put off by the price long ago, but it's truly one of a kind. I don't think there's a better FDN verb out there
Anyone consistently using it? Is it stable? Development seems to have ceased-ish but i'm more interested in if it's problematic... and the service that sells it is kaputt?!? Link goes nowhere

I'm using it all the time. It's one of my Go-To reverbs. Got tons of custom presets done for it. No idea if you can still get a serial for it though. I'm really happy I bought my copy many years ago and it still works. It has never crashed on my as far as I can remember. I use it on Windows 7 and 8.1 running Reaper.
Here was a quick example of AriesVerb in action:
Aries Verb Examples, google drive link (mp3 file).
First few bars the dry sound.. then I switch through a variety of my own presets.
Another example, the reverb in this clip is AriesVerb, custom preset

This thing is a fargin monster. Those shorter ambiences in your presets are incredible . I always favoured FDNs for this... but the textures and varied densities you can get out of this thing - you'd probably need another 5-6 different plugins to generate. WTF! And no unpleasant harshness. I must find a way to get his thing by years end. Thanks for the input!

Good luck! I've been emailing the developer every once in a while, asking if the development has been continued but never got any responses.Debutante wrote: Wed Nov 04, 2020 5:40 am This thing is a fargin monster. Also, you can make any type of reverb within Ariesverb. You can easily make extremely harsh and ringy reverbs if you want. The included FDN matrix display gives very nice visual clues to what you are tweaking, thus it's quite easy to visualize when you got a properly diffuse network going or an extremely ringy crazy network going. I'll try to create a few "nasty" bad reverb examples as well. The fun really starts when you time it all to the host tempo!
Oh and this is far more capable than just making reverbs. You can make really cool choruses and flangers too.

It seems like there was a free beta version available for some time. I remember it being my favorite reverb — easy on the CPU too.
So the demo is still available? What are the limitations? EDIT: "The demo version is fully functional except for the ability to recall settings."

The AriesVerb 0.7.7 demo seems to still be available for download from http://ariescode.com/ , but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. The purchase links do seem to be dead, though.

You can buy through KVR Marketplace.

I'm not looking to buy right now anyway, but if I put AriesVerb in my cart and hit the Checkout button nothing happens. Actually, I just tried some other random plugin and nothing happens when I hit the Checkout button with that one either, so I don't know how KVR Maketplace is supposed to work I guess.

Hmm. Don’t know really, wasn’t paying attention to the checkout process. Bought Ariesverb last week with no problems.

I tried KVR Checkout again, and if I long press the button and select "open" it works as expected, so it does seem to still be available for purchase.
As much as I liked AriesVerb when I last used it (probably 10 years ago), $139 seems like a lot for a plugin that has been in beta for 16 years. I will try the demo again for sure, though.
