I've got some Neve socks and a Madrona Labs T-shirtv1o wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 2:19 pmThere's a few brands whose shirts I would wear such as Neve, SSL or Roland. I'd only wear a Brainworx shirt if I was getting paid to do it.leeleema wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 1:56 pmThe point is, with cool t-shirts, <1% of people will know what it is, that's the whole point of a cool t-shirt I think. The other point is that PA is not cool. I'm a big fan of some of their plugs but by any measure, PA/Brainworx is not cool. I certainly wouldn't pay to advertise them on my head or chest. No doubt a ruse by Dirk and his marketing department to take over the plug-in world. Maybe the whole, 'what you've been asking for/you want/you need this' will work on the more *ahem* soft minded folk.pekadan wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 1:40 pm Yeah I don't know, having the text "Brainworx" on my T-shirt. Not even 1% of people I meet will know what this is. The rest will just go "good for you" or "no it doesn't".

The installer I have (version 1.6, ~4.6 mb) does indeed install both 32 and 64 bit dll's, to the same directory.riley4reason wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 12:12 pm I went for the TimewARP 2600 for 9 USD at plugin boutique.
It didn't come with 64 bit installers though, I asked their support folks about it 2 days ago. Did anyone else buy it? I'm on Windows 10. Thanks! Riley

It's more of a rompler than a synth, right?

Well it's sample based, but yes, you get to move some controls around which link to scripts which kind of simulate cutoff and resonance etc by modifying the sample mix (with a bit of filtering and stuff on the side), so you get a small amount of things you can alter, but you're pretty much dealing with what you can change on a preset. I like it, but I'm not obsessed with sound design potential.

As an owner of Synth Anthology 2, I have the $49 upgrade offer. But I am a bit reluctant.
As per this link, it seems that UVI does not allow license transfers of upgraded products. So, if I were to upgrade to SA 3, I cannot resell SA 2/ SA 3. Can anyone confirm if this understanding is correct?

The language is vague but might just mean that you can’t sell the base license by itself but you can still sell it with the upgrade?LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 5:30 pm

Just out of interest: I have no UVI products at all at the moment. If you have the prior version ... do you expect to be unhappy with the update? Or do you just ask to be sure you can sell it for whatever reason? How about UVI happiness in general?

Yeah, thanks guys. I sent them a request a while ago. Will post here once I get it clarified.
The reason to clarify is because I had a few UVI soundbanks which I was not really using and sold them recently. Since there is an iLok fee involved and I may need to transfer anything at any point, I try to avoid a situation where license cannot be transferred at all.
It's not that their product is not good or I am unhappy. It's just for the peace of mind. And in general, I think twice these days before purchasing anything that's iLok based - only because of the high license transfer fee.
UVI products sound great and their support is decent too, but for some reasons I am not much into their products. Synth Anthology 2 is the only thing I own from them. Well, there's Tines Anthology and Digital Synsations as well, but got them for free.
