SK Note actually did put out a plugin a few years ago called PolyJam that was meant to make drums sound more human and lively. I thought it was a good idea but they abandoned it. You could contact them and see if they'd be interested in reviving it (unlikely though).

MDrummer from Melda has a "Realisticity "and "Super-Realisticity" option. But tbh I have no idea what they are doing. I am a pretty new MDrummer user and haven´t imported my oneshot samples yet. The manual states that it should prevent the machine gun effect.

You can find the option under the Advanced Tab in the Drumset Editor.

I mean any synth with an S&H LFO (or a random LFO) will do the trick if it has a sample import. Pigments does have those mod sources.

Hi all. I'm currently developing a (free!) round robin plugin where you can uploade up to 20 samples and play them back in series or random...plus you can arrange, audition and swap out the samples. Also, all parameters have negative/positive randomization. I know you can do this with most samplers/DAWs but this just makes it so much easier. As a sound designer if was annoying to get some round robin action with a select amount of samples. Check it out here and sign up for the waiting list if you dig! Should be out soon-ish.
