Can you turn off automatic pitch detection in the sampler?

Hello,

as per Meldaproduction Update 14.08, the Sampler of MSoundfactory has received an update; it automatically detects the pitch of a sample, and sets a root note on your keyboard accordingly. Which is great for a couple of purposes I guess, but pretty annoying for others.

For example, I create a lot of basses for drum and bass, these basses have many harmonics and processing on top. When I load these bass samples into the MSF sampler, the pitch detection fails almost each time.

Imagine a scenario where you have a MIDI clip playing back the Sampler in MSF, and you just wanna switch through samples you made. Each time you would change the sample, you also have to readjust the root note again, because MSF doesnt detect the correct pitch.

It would be great if the Pitch Detection is an OPTION, not a must :tu:

What do you think?

Hi,

this was there from the beginning and you can change it directly in the import window, it's probably called pitch detection mode or something :)
