Isn't my way easier though?

1. Select the chord
2. The arp then picks up Notes 1 through to X based on the chord selection and allocates them accordingly.
3. Then Note 1 is the root, note 2 is root +1 and so on.

In any event worked it out now so thanks 8)

Ana 2 is great synth! Great preset browser, nice rich sounds, best build-in arp! Slate digital skin and presets are must have.

How does one obtain the Slate skin if they didn't purchase ANA 2 from Slate but rather from Sonic Academy ?

You can pay for one month and get it.

Whilst the Slate skin looks incredibly well crafted, I don't see that it adds anything to the instrument and it's almost as bright as the default skin. I much prefer the standard dark skin.

I was going through the "Aggressive" presets on the weekend and although pretty much none of them were anything even approaching aggressive, there are some really nice sounds in there that I was able to make into something more aggressive without much effort.

I'm working on a track now that uses it prominently. I think it's aggressive, but when compared to Bones' music, I can see the error of my ways.

I have encountered an issue, maybe someone can help me. Is there a function to reset or unlearn all midi data? What I tried is to save an empty "midi learn mapping" file. But when I load that file nothing happens, all the midi mapping is still as it was. Even if I close and reload the VST or shut down and open my DAW with a new session, it retains the information.

I don't have such problem. There is a "set midi learn" field, and when you set it, it becomes "remove midi learn". I tried to set and remove then close/run again and it saves the state of "set" or "remove" in Live 10/Win 10.

Set and remove midi works fine, I just don't want to have to search for and edit each assigned knob individually whenever I want to start clean. A matrix for this would already help (like u-he synths) but I would just imagine that loading a midi map should do the trick as well. I'll just contact support, thanks!

It saves and load the mapping as XML file. Not as easy as u-he synths, but you can edit the xml file. You can guess the parameter name when you hover over it and see it in the info screen (for example, I hover the mouse over the Filter Res knob in the image, but I have already midi learn it). To edit the XML file, you need to know the CC of your knob:

Ah that's interesting, thank you!

I just purchased Ana2. Initial impressions: What an “under-the-radar” gem! I love the ooomph this synth has. It is rather Diva-ish.

Is there a way to scale the GUI? I am having a hard time with the tiny font.

Isn't it? And yes, you can click on SETTINGS in the middle screen -> GUI Size

Yeah! Amazing low end for a “wavetable” synth.

Thanks for the re-size instruct.

Started working on some patches for this today, saved the presets and when I reloaded it had reassigned half of the modulation sources to macros, totally losing the original patch.

Anyone else had this problem?
