Strange that the Faderport 8 is has suddenly dropped price from £450 to £390 in the UK on Amazon. I nabbed one, hope it doesn’t end up less in BF sale.

I haven't read CM in years/decades but the Kilohearts Slice EQ in the latest edition is hard to pass up. Does a digital subscription give access to all the plugins they give away with the print edition?

Yes through File Silo

A single digital issue is enough. License keys for SliceEQ are given away after filling in a form you receive via FileSilo. To access the goodies for a particular issue, you have to answer a question (word x on page y) to register it on FileSilo.

It could only go so low as its hardware, so you're probably doing alright if you were happy to buy at £390.

Some offers were limited time though and have expired.

I think the SliceEQ offer will expire at some point in the future, so best to pick it up now.

I can't see a way to buy a single digital issue, just a single print issue but they're not in stock. Is there a website other than www.magazinesdirect.com?

There's also Readly, that offer a demo period for their flat subscription service to a lot of magazines, CM included.

There may be others.
Thankyou.
Very handy.

+1 for Readly - $10/month (with a one-month free trial and, if you let that lapse, they may offer you two more) and you get access to Computer Music and Beat Magazine every month, both of which have regular good freebies. Plus, you know, thousands of other magazines that you might like too.

Also FYI in my experience you can generally unlock Computer Music content almost forever (there are occasional exceptions), but most Beat cover stuff seems to be available for 2-6 months after the issue is published.

Zinio occasionally sell a 13 magazine subscription for £16 when on sale, like BF.
There are also issue specific plugins, only available with 1 issue.

I had 2 sale subscriptions and it's just expired.
Watch out though, they use auto renew which can be cancelled.

I hope Exponential Audio got an exponential amount of money for his company, because the prices that iZotope is slinging those products at are exponentially lower than the original prices. It could only have been worse had he gone with Plugin Alliance.

Looks more like they were primarily interested in the codebase to extend their own product line.
