Computer Music mentioned in their latest issue (about a week ago) that there is a major announcement coming on November 10th, and I suspected then that it might be this. And that’s today so hold on tight!

so, what is the deal, they go from 10.1.25 (there is 10.1.30 beta) to 11?
or is at an alpha version of 11? or 10.5?

Yeah, just saw them. QUite a surprise, but I'm curious about upgrade pricing - might be a deal breaker for me.

I think it's gonna be announced soon (today?), but perhaps there's gonna be a beta that is gonna take few months? Just like was the case with v10.

If it goes beta soon and released around Jan-Feb It will be 3 years since 10 which is normal for a new version. What is unusual is nothing much happened in between.

There has always been a fairly big .5 update in the past...given how expensive and limited their 10 update was I was expected a pretty big free 10.5 before 11.

I didn't see the video, did it actually say is was 11 or just show the new features?

What's interesting about this is that Apple Silicon Macs are gonna be announced today, too.

Is this a coincident?
