All my uhe synths are lagging in Cubase 10.5 when browing the presets, but i started to live with it.

Hive sometimes has to load wavetables. Atm this stalls browsing and of course the preset sounds "wrong" until all wavetables are fully loaded.

We had ideas to optionally move this into a background task, but haven't found the time to do so. It is on our list though, maybe not for the next update but then in conjunction with Z3 which will also support HIve's wavetables.

Which format? - I just tried Diva and Bazille, and they load more than 10 presets per second. Hive is the only one I got which exhibits short breaks when browsing presets as quickly as possible.

But then I don't have Cubase, so maybe there's something we might want to look into. Maybe best to send an email to support at u-he dot com...

Ok... Ableton... hmmm... I'll try to lure Tas into this thread...

(this can take a while, he's got internet issues today... )

On Cubase 10.5.20 @ Win10, with Repro/Z2+HZ/Hive/...
When i play the track, audio starts to stutter when switching to the preset browser.
Instantly goes away when i close the preset browser.

Cubase 11 is out soon, so things might change again...

Yeah I can confirm this in Live 10 on Mac (Mohave)

Have you guys tried setting your Mac's display profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1?
Does this make things better in Live when using the AU version?

Hmm, ok, then it would be best to contact our support, so we can try to troubleshoot the issue.
It works super fast with Live 10.1.25 and Hive's AU version over here, so there must be something special causing this.

Will check it out if its VST3 or 2. But its not a lag, more of a massive drop in performance.
Experiencing it even after several fresh OS installations.
Maybe a late Cubase bug, dont think it happend on earlier versions (10.0 or 9.5).
Will upgrade to 11 soon and observe.
