I found a nice theme that matches the Maschine software so now when it’s open they both look uniform

I use Maschine too and like the sound of that

Anybody know what features are added in Live 11 for the Push/Push2? I've been very tempted to sell my Push 2 because it constantly frustrates me how underutilized it is. There are so many basic usability issues for standalone use that it isn't even funny. I really hope it isn't being ignored yet again.

Ah thanks.. oh well that's underwhelming. Sigh.. was hoping for a lot more fine tuning to the user experience. Push 2 could be an absolutely brutally good stand alone sequencer kind of thing but no effort has been put into that it seems.

In general it seems like no effort has been put into making the Push 2 be a more hands-off mouse & keyboard experience.

Yeah, I'd say that mirrors my own experience.

Mine gets used to play parts in then put away until the end of a track when I start recording automation. For anything else it's just faster not to bother picking it up. It's a gorgeous piece of hardware but as a production tool I haven't found it anymore useful than a cheap MIDI keyboard with a few knobs in practical terms.

I know I could do more with it so it's partly 'user error', but it feels more like learning another way to do the thing I'm already doing except slower and with less flexibility. I'd only really be doing it for the sake of feeling like I was using it more.

yeah I also have a flash back of a similar DAW ... but with large pitch dark sections and bright main grid

Anyone seen the Cubase update? Makes me feel guilty about the Live one, which is growing on me tbh. Mag review predictions, having no experience of either: Live 11 - 10/10, Cubase 11 - 7/10. The Cubase update looks like a real stinker
