Absolutely. Not that long and quite informative.....dont be ashamed to read it a few times. There is a lot of complex concepts in there that not many synths have. Zebralette is a true gem

Thanks, guys. I did take a look at the Plugmon skin, but it moves around quite a lot of stuff and I decided that it's better to use the default skin if I'm working from the manual.

I get what you mean about reading it a few times. Some of the descriptions of the effects are way beyond me at the moment, but I have an idea about how they sound, which is the most important thing. Yesterday I made a list of patches that I'm curious about, so I'll start deconstructing them once I've gone through the whole manual.

Hello again, everybody. I've been experimenting with Zebralette while reading the manual and I'm starting to get an idea about how the different parts work. I still need to work through the manual a few more times, but I'm confident I'm on my way to being able to comfortably use it.

I have a question about the UH Bad Vocal Sample presets. I've noticed that they all use an MSEG to move through the wavetables, and that all of the wavetables are set to Spectromorph. My question is - how does one decide which shapes to use in the wavetable? My understanding is that since it's Spectromorph, it's a representation of the harmonic spectrum. Is it best to learn about the harmonic spectrum in general and learn which kind of instruments do which kinds of things there? Or is there another approach?

I do plan on working through those Soundonsound articles about synthesis, so I'm sure I'll find some answers there, but any other suggestions for resources to learn would be greatly appreciated.
