M-audio code61

joined to see if i can get help

id like to see how waveform works and if i prefer it to cakewalk ableton flstudio

waveform picked up my Roli with no problem and i can use it, but it found code61 (M-Audio) on the usb ports for other functions, but wont actually use it no sound no signal anyone had/has same problem

Does the M-Audio show up as a MIDI input device?

it does yes as code61, midiin2-4, both input and output

If you have the code61 selected as input device to a midi track, do you then see the input meter levels when you hit keys? Normally that, plus a VST in the output section in the right (with a patch loaded) should play. You can normally tell by seeing the output meters for the track bouncing as well.

Now IF you have the code61 selected as a controller rather than just a MIDI device, that changes things...?

Dont know whats happened i reset all audio drivers tried each one, tried a second time and im getting sound, whereas before was set up as a midi device, and output meters were not displaying, but least i'm getting something, now to retry the roli.

thanks for help peter, lets see how it goes later today tomorrow after i've finished testing out and seeing how it works
