clarification: is MLimiterMB made of multiple MLimiterX?

Well my spontaneous and intuitive answer would be: yes. Due to the ecosystem of Meldaproductions plugins, I guess that basically you could build your own MB versions of almost all tools inside MXXX. Some might have slightly different value ranges (e.g. the delay) or so, but basically it might be technically the same, I guess.

I am not at my workstation right now and I did not compare th limiter module with MLimiterX after reading your thread. Still I guess it's safe to say: MXXX is quite mighty.

Yes and no. Most multibands are really just a crossover and multiple instances. MLimiterMB is one of the few exceptions, which are a bit more complex, but you can definitely build a crossover like that in MXXX1.

Thanx for responding, both of you. I had, in fact, done an Mxxx1 "version" before it occurred to me there was probably an MB version out there some where. The Mxxx1 seemed to produce "about" the same result, but was a bit "messier" all the way around. Can you give me some more specific info on the differences?...Cheers!.../s~

Actually I don't remember, but there's some interband threshold management and a saturator on output.
